Getting Here

Villa Desimi is located on the island of Lefkada in the Ionian Sea, on the Western side of Greece situated between the islands of Corfu and Kefalonia, accessible via a floating swing bridge to the mainland. This lovely villa is in the heart of Lefkada’s eastern corner, just off Geni headland and a stone’s throw away from the bustling seaside town of Nidri. 

 

Once on the island, getting around is easy by car or alternatively suggest hiring one of the local scooters or quad bikes from one of our partner suppliers in Nidri, which we can assist with organising.  

 

There is a local bus service that operates around the island with the bus stop located within a 10min walk from the villa. Guests can walk to local amenities such as the bakery (10min walk), small supermarket (5min walk) and there are 3 local tavernas and 2 coffee shops located within the bay area which is less than a 3 min walk. 

 

For all service requirements, the town of Nidri is located nearby and is approximately a 7 - 10 minute car ride. Nidri hosts an abundance of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, a medical centre and local gift shops which caters to all variety of desires. The main town of Lefkas is approximately 30 minutes by car. Being centred on the East coast of the Island, Villa Desimi is well placed to access all of the famous locations around the island, with the furthest destination taking no more than 60mins to reach by car.
